Manager, Professional Assessment Development

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager (PCD), the Manager (Development), PAC will assist to lead and manage the department to develop and drive assessments of the Professional Qualifications Programmes.  He/she will work closely with the programme development departments to ensure the assessment methodology and standard is suitable for the relevant professional qualification programmes.  The job requires planning and managing new products, projects and activities across regions and ensures quality and consistency of the assessment processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the development of professional assessments to cater to the assessment needs and meet the intended outcomes of the related professional qualifications
  • Manage and execute the Smart Question Management System (SQMS) and development of Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Manage and assure the assessment development process to deliver quality services in accordance with the prescribed QA policies and guidelines
  • Manage in maintaining and revising the policy, procedure and guideline under the scope of professional assessment development
  • Prepare the development of professional assessment documents such as questions pool, assessment papers, reference guidelines, correspondence letters, etc.
  • Manage the HKIB Council Banks Professional Qualification Scholarship Fund with all the stakeholders’ liaison and coordination
  • Be a core member of the project team on the accreditation of Professional Qualification Assessment Agency (PQAA), and industry-related projects
  • Communicate and collaborate with external & internal stakeholders
  • Participate in and facilitate institutional events and programmes as needed
  • Drive and manage in compiling various management information reports as to reflect business updates for decision
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or above with at least 5-year relevant experience gained from banking, financial, training, and education industries with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role preferred
  • Attentive to details, able for multitasking and work independently, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Good project management and quality management skills
  • Strong team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in computer software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
